The Highfield Level 2 award for working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry is a mandatory qualification for anyone looking to apply for an SIA licence.

Upon completing this 6 consecutive day course and passing the exams, candidates can apply for the SIA Door Supervisor Licence, allowing them to work in the security industry legally.

In order to take the Door Supervisor Course, you must hold a valid First Aid Certificate

Overview

This Door Supervisor course is ideal for anyone wishing to get SIA Licence and work in the security industry as a door supervisor or security guard. The course is based on the relevant SIA specification for learning and qualifications and is supported by Skills for Security, the standards setting body for the security industry and the SIA, which regulates the private security industry. Obtaining the Level 2 Door Supervisor qualification is the first step towards getting an SIA Door Supervisor Licence.

Certification

Successful learners will receive a personalised Highfiedl Level 2 Award for Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry. Printed certificates are available at an additional cost.

Requirements

  • To register for the course, all candidates must be aged 18 and over.
  • All candidates will need to show that they hold a current and valid First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate that meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. First Aid Certificates must be presented to I-On Academy before candidates can begin the training session.

  2. Registration for the course is not guaranteed until a completed registration form and payment has been received. Placement in the course will be confirmed via E-mail by the I-On Academy staff.
